FTC Team #17288 — building robots, building skills, and building community.
We are FTC Team #17288, the Rubber Bandits, founded in 2019. We are a team passionate about engineering, creativity, and hands-on problem solving. In FIRST Tech Challenge, we design, build, and program innovative robots while learning to collaborate and tackle real engineering challenges.
Our team has grown from five members to eleven. This season, 54% of our team are rookies, bringing fresh energy and new ideas. With guidance from experienced members, we focus on learning together, sharing knowledge, and helping every teammate grow.
Beyond competition, we love sharing our passion for STEM, innovation, teamwork, and spreading the values of FIRST, inspiring others to explore and create.
